Mushroom cake

No no, this cake doesn’t actually have mushrooms in it, it just looks like a mushroom. It was made for my niece Khaoula. She celebrated a fairy themed birthday at the park. Originally, I had planned to create a fairy from fondant, but I didn’t calculate my time well and was fully invested in this mushroom. Her mother had the best solution, she just placed a Tinker Bell doll on top and it worked out perfectly.

לא לא, העוגה הזו לא מכילה פטריות כלל, היא רק נראית כמו פטריה. הכנתי אותה עבור אחיינית שלי חאולה. היא חגגה יום הולדת בפארק בנושא פיות. במקור, תכננתי להכין גם דמות של פייה מבצק סוכר, אבל לא חישבתי את הזמן שלי כמו שצריך ונשאבתי לחלוטין בהכנת הפטרייה. אמא שלה מצאה פתרון ופשוט הניחה בובה קטנה של טינקרבל על גבי הפטרייה. זה עבד באופן מושלם.
